15 minutes is what we call this place....
It's not world class food, it's quick take out Chinese food in Brunswick Maryland. As long as you go in understanding that you'll be happy. For me the food has been consistent and portions are ample. I wouldn't eat in the dining room here anymore than any other take out place. The food is good, full of flavor and has fresh vegetables in it. I love the place for what it is. -

The food tasted like average Chinese food but few of us got sick same evening.. I do not think this was coincidence. I can't put my finger on it but it seems obvious. Paying the price eating cheap Chinese food.
I don't want to leave a bad review for people trying to make a living but they need to do better control of their quality and charge more if necessary. -

The food at New China Chinese is what you would expect for cheap and quick Chinese in Brunswick. We tried the pork fried rice, general tso chicken, chicken and broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. Everything tasted good, but was just a little off. The chicken and broccoli was definitely too heavy on the broccoli. The general tso chicken has some overly chewy pieces. The sweet and sour pork was missing the sauce. Overall, I would get take-out from here again, but only for convenience.

The place is kind of a whole in the wall in a shopping center. You barely know it's there save for the tiny sign on the shopping center sign, and if you happen to gaze down the breezeway you might notice it.
We met a friend there, and went right to her table. We were followed by the hostess and given menus. She asked what we wanted to drink and left, returning momentarily with our unsweetened iced tea.
The tea was barely tea... it may have passed for brown water that was near a tea bag, but not much else. Adding sweetener didn't help it any.
A much younger girl took our order, who spoke very good English. My wife ordered Orange Chicken, I ordered Chicken Fried Rice, and our friend ordered Crab Rangoon.
Each of our meals were delivered separately, about 3-5 minutes apart. It's customary to deliver everyone's food at the same time. So, we waited until all were delivered, my wife's being last.
The food was tasty, but it needs to be said that the CHICKEN friend rice had very little chicken in it. And not chunks, but small shreds. There was maybe a 1/4 cup of chicken in about two cups of rice.
The worst of the visit was the hostess and her phone. It kept ringing, and at one point she just left it sitting on the front counter, and it rang. Good lord, at least turn the volume down! Then, she made (or took) a call and in her shrillest voice she kept yelling at whomever was on the other end of the phone. I shushed her at one point, and she went outside, only to return a moment later doing the same thing. She went to the back, came back out and kept talking.
She came to our table, ON THE PHONE, to see if we needed boxes. She returned with the boxes, STILL ON THE PHONE, and we boxed up our leftovers.
We continued chatting for awhile, and she finally got off the phone. While we were still talking, she put a hand-written note on the mirror of the entryway that said "No seating today, carry out only" But that's probably just a personnel issue.
We got up to leave and pay, and I had to wait at the counter for awhile.
The food wasn't good enough to compensate for the very poor service. Service is king for me... and this was more like a stable boy than a king. -

This place has the best egg rolls in the area.. No other egg roll compares to the flavor and size! It's a hole in the wall but the food is consistently good. I always get the general Tso chicken, white rice and a few egg rolls and it has never failed. I've never eaten inside but honestly I don't think they intend for anyone to eat in there. The food is always hot a ready fast.
